在1974年被发现的时候,由于当时发现队正在播放披头士的“Lucy in the sky with diamonds”因此而得名。

The image shows the entrance gate of the National Museum of Ethiopia. The gate is flanked by two stone pillars, each topped with a lion statue. Above the gate is a large sign with text in both Amharic and English, reading "National Museum of Ethiopia" along with contact information. The entrance is open, revealing a pathway leading to the museum building in the background, surrounded by trees and greenery. There are also posters displayed on the stone pillars near the entrance.

The image shows a serene park with lush green grass and various trees providing shade. In the foreground, there is a small palm tree. Towards the right side of the image, there is a statue of a person standing on a concrete pedestal. The statue appears to be of a soldier or a person in uniform. The background includes more trees and some structures that are partially visible through the foliage. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and green.

The image shows an old artillery cannon displayed outdoors on a concrete pedestal. The cannon has large spoked wheels and is situated in a grassy area with trees and a fence in the background. There are informational signs attached to the cannon and placed on the pedestal, providing details about the artifact. The setting appears to be a park or a museum garden.

The image shows a signpost with multiple yellow directional signs in both Amharic and English. The signs point to different locations within a museum complex. The directions include "National Museum," "Conservation Laboratory," and "Temporary Exhibition." The signpost is situated outdoors, with a building and a parked car visible in the background. There are also some plants at the base of the signpost.

The image shows the entrance to the National Museum of Ethiopia. The building is made of concrete and has a large, colorful mosaic above the entrance depicting various historical and cultural elements. There is a sign in both Amharic and English that reads "National Museum of Ethiopia" above the entrance. A set of green-carpeted stairs leads up to the entrance, and two people are sitting on the steps. The building has barred windows on either side of the entrance. A tree is visible on the right side of the image.

The image shows an ornate wooden throne with intricate carvings and a red cushioned seat and backrest. The throne features detailed woodwork, including twisted columns on either side and elaborate patterns along the top and bottom edges. The backrest has a carved scene with figures and text in a script that appears to be ancient or decorative. The throne is set against a blue background.

The image shows a display case in a museum containing several ornate crowns and headpieces. The crowns are elaborately decorated with intricate designs and embellishments. The display also includes a few black and white photographs of individuals wearing similar crowns, placed on a red velvet cloth. The background of the image shows other museum exhibits and artifacts.

A black and white photograph of a person dressed in elaborate, traditional attire, including a richly decorated robe and a crown. The person is seated on a throne and holding a long staff. The photograph is displayed on a red cloth with a small white label marked with the number "2" in the upper right corner.

The image shows an exhibit display featuring a skeletal reconstruction of "Lucy," a famous Australopithecus afarensis fossil. The display includes text in English and another language (likely Amharic) that introduces Lucy, stating:

"Hi, I'm Lucy (or Dinknesh in Ethiopian language). I'm almost 3.2 million years old, but am walking fully upright. Please meet my world-famous ancestors and descendants, all from Ethiopia."

The skeletal reconstruction is positioned to the right of the text, showing a side view of the skeleton in an upright walking posture. The background of the display is dark, which makes the text and the skeleton stand out prominently.

A busy street scene in an urban area. On the left side, there are makeshift stalls and vendors selling various goods, with people walking and shopping. On the right side, there are multi-story buildings with businesses and signs. A white truck is parked on the right side of the street. The street is bustling with pedestrians and activity, and power lines are visible overhead. The sky is cloudy.

A bustling outdoor market scene with several people walking and interacting. The market stalls are filled with various goods, including bags, suitcases, and colorful textiles. Some people are browsing the items, while others are engaged in conversation. The atmosphere appears lively and busy.

The image shows the exterior of a two-story building with a greenish facade. The building has barred windows on the upper floor and a sign that reads "Haier REFRIGERATOR" with images of refrigerators on it. The sky is partly cloudy, and there are power lines and a utility pole visible on the right side of the image.

The image shows a storefront window displaying a variety of old CRT (cathode-ray tube) televisions. The TVs are stacked and arranged in rows, with different brands and sizes visible. The reflection of the street and surrounding area can be seen in the glass of the window. The window frame is painted gray, and part of the building's exterior, which is painted in light green and orange, is also visible.

The image shows the interior of a cozy restaurant with wooden furniture and warm lighting. Several groups of people are seated at wooden tables, engaged in conversation and enjoying their meals. The restaurant has a rustic ambiance with hanging pendant lights and a wooden ceiling. A person in a red dress is standing and appears to be serving or interacting with the diners. The overall atmosphere is lively and inviting.

The image shows a traditional Chinese hot pot setup on a wooden table. The hot pot has a central chimney and is filled with boiling broth. There are plates around the hot pot, one with pieces of tofu and another with vegetables. The table is set in a rustic environment, possibly a restaurant, with wooden benches and a woven wall in the background. There are people in the background, but they are not the main focus of the image.

A large white plate filled with thinly sliced raw meat, arranged in a circular pattern. The plate is placed on a wooden table.

A wooden table with three different food items. On the left, there is a white plate with rectangular pieces of food, possibly tofu or a similar ingredient. In the middle, there is a basket containing leafy greens, likely cabbage. On the right, there is another basket with translucent, noodle-like strips. The setting appears to be a rustic or casual dining environment.
